FAQ’s

1 - Is therapy right for me?

Tele-therapy may be right for you if you are looking to improve the quality of your life.

Whenever there is anything that interferes with your happiness or prevents you from achieving your goals, we may be able to help you virtually.

We have counselors who are licensed and specialize in treating various issues such as stress, anxiety, relationship problems, parenting, depression, addictions, eating disorders, insomnia, pain management, trauma, anger, family conflicts, LGBT matters, grief, behavioral problems, self-esteem, and much more.

2 - How do I know if therapy is not for me?

  • You have thoughts of hurting yourself or others

  • You are in an urgent crisis or an emergency situation

  • You have been diagnosed with a severe mental illness, or if you have been advised to be under psychological supervision or psychiatric care

  • You do not have a device that can connect to the Internet or you do not have a reliable Internet connection.

3 - Is therapy covered by my insurance?

Many insurance carriers do reimburse for teletherapy sessions including psychological assessments.

Check with your insurance company to see if reimbursement is an option.

Keep in mind that your medical insurance represents a contract between you and the carrier, not between the carrier and us. If your insurance fails to pay, then you remain responsible for all fees.

We will bill the insurance company directly for you.

Please remember that this, in no way, removes your obligation to pay any fees, or portion of fees not paid by your insurance carrier.

All co-payments and deductibles must be paid prior to the service and will be determined based on your individual insurance policy.

Medicaid and most health insurance plans cover the cost of these services; however, coverage and limits vary by individual policy.

4 - After I sign up, how long until I’m matched with a counselor?

In most cases, you will be able to see a counselor within 48 hours.
