Lindsey Best is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience working with individuals, families and groups. Lindsey has worked with those living with depression, anxiety, trauma, domestic violence and relationship issues. Lindsey believes in holistic treatment, considering the cognitive, emotional, physical, and relational needs of each unique individual. Her therapeutic approach is cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and person-centered, focusing on recognizing behaviors and triggers and creating positive coping skills.
Lindsey obtained both her Master of Science in Social Work and her Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at Austin. Lindsey has provided services to a variety of clients in both inpatient psychiatric and outpatient mental health settings. For the last decade, Lindsey has worked with the Active Duty military population and their families experiencing a range of psychological issues including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and has helped develop a one of a kind program focused on providing intensive process and psychoeducation group treatments for military members.
Lindsey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Teas (License #42242). Lindsey believes seeking help is a courageous step in the healing process.
