I believe that we are all doing the best we know how to do, until we learn how to do something differently to promote a higher quality of life through finding our most authentic self.  My therapeutic approach is based on my experience as a counselor and a yoga teacher. I strive to provide a welcoming, warm and safe environment where clients can freely explore their emotions, thoughts, self talk and physical responses  in an objective and non-judgemental approach. My hope for clients is to increase their self awareness through various modalities to encourage a sense of balance and positive self esteem. I use a combination of traditional talk therapy, mindfulness and meditation techniques, breathwork and body awareness specific to the needs of my client. Overall, providing a  holistic approach to physical health and emotional wellness. I believe that we have the innate tools to bring a balance between mind, body and spirit. I aim to bring awareness to these innate qualities and empower clients with the skills on how to apply them in daily life.

My experience includes working in inpatient, non-profit, residential treatment centers and outpatient settings with children, adolescents and adults who have experienced active crises, domestic violence, grief and loss, prenatal and postpartum issues, separation and trauma.
