“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War
Fear is the enemy of those who wish to be successful. What if I fail? What if something goes wrong? What will they think of me? It is this fear that keeps us from being who we are, from living our dreams, and from being happy. I want to help you to get to know that fear, and understand it, and take control of it, so that you can be successful in whatever battle you may be fighting. My goal is to help you better understand yourself so that you can identify your fears and together we can help you attain the best possible you.
I’m Daniel, a Licensed professional counselor and I’ve been working in the mental health community for ten years. I received both a Master of Science in Counseling and a Bachelor of Art’s Psychology from Texas A&M San Antonio. I recently joined the team here at San Antonio Counseling and Behavioral and will be providing therapy at the downtown location. I have worked with all age groups and I enjoy working with couples most. I have experience with depression, bi-polar, anxiety, substance abuse, sexual issues, and LGBQT. I considered myself to be open minded, this is a safe and judgment free space. I strive to offer a comfortable and relaxed environment so that you feel free to be who you are, and we can safely explore your potentials.
I look forward to working with you and helping you conquer your fears!
