Kari Conyers-Brink, LPC

I have been working in the counseling field since 2000. I provide individual and family therapy to those having difficulty with depression, anxiety, anger, ADHD, relationship and family issues.

My area of specialization includes working with children and adolescents on coping with everyday challenges they may be experiencing that are effecting their behavior in school and home settings. I have worked with adolescents in the Juvenile Probation system teaching coping skills and anger management.

In addition to children services, I also assist adults in improving their relationships, communication, anxiety and depression.

I will use a variety of techniques in the counseling process to ensure you receive the most benefit from this experience including coordinating care services with your primary physician or psychiatrist.

I strive to help children, their families, and adults gain tools to empower themselves to overcome challenging situations in one’s life and have have a safe and confidential environment to work through these difficult times. As your therapist we will collaborate to help you and or your family achieve your identified goals.

I love getting creative with clients and figuring out the strategies that will work best for you and your child. I earned my M.A. and Psy.D in Clinical Child Psychology at the University of Indianapolis and my B.A. in Psychology at Gannon University. I have experience working with children and adolescents in outpatient clinics, as well as residential and therapeutic school settings. My training includes diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health issues; including but not limited to ADHD, ODD, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD and trauma related disorders, family disruptions, and substance abuse. However, I also believe that children are more than their diagnosis and work to help all the children I treat live up to their full potential.
