Brianne Lutterman is a Licensed Professional Counselor (license #70801) with three years of therapeutic experience and eight years of experience in working with individuals, children, couples, and families. Brianne has worked most in the areas of depression, anxiety, sibling relational problems, parent-child relational problems, couples counseling, adoption/foster care, and emotional/physical abuse. Brianne creates an individualized treatment focusing on the client’s goals and utilizes a Cognitive-Behavioral approach.
Brianne obtained her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa. Brianne began by providing therapeutic services to the community in graduate school through the Community Family Life Center working with a variety of ages of clients. Brianne went on to La Paz Community Health Center working with adults with severe mental illness, and Laurel Ridge Treatment Center working on the child and adolescent unit.
Brianne completed her intern hours for her license working at Novian Counseling and Neuroeducation Center under the supervision of Dr. Allen Novian Ph. D, LMFT, LPC-S counseling adolescents, couples, families, and individuals. Brianne also worked as a Program Manager for Roy Maas' Youth Alternatives in Boerne, Texas with children in foster care. Most recently, Brianne was an investigator for Child Protective Services in Bexar County.
Brianne has a passion for working with children, families, couples, and individuals to achieve their therapeutic goals. Brianne stresses effective communication and working through the CBT process, as well as incorporating therapeutic techniques in day-to-day life. Brianne loves to see the results that clients can achieve through counseling and the positive changes it brings to each person’s life and relationships with those close to them.
