Krystle Himmelberger, LPC

Alleviating symptoms while providing an increase in positive thoughts and feelings is a holistic focus towards wellbeing. We may feel stress, frustration, anger, or fear that can cause our lives to become unbalanced. Guiding clients to explore and identify problems while searching for solutions will empower individuals to take control of their lives. Additionally, practicing techniques in finding meaning, gratitude, and hope can influence a person’s sense of confidence in things that are difficult to manage or control. Understanding ourselves may be the hardest thing to do, yet alone, communicate what is really going on. For that reason, Krystle believes that seeking counseling is a shift toward self-reflection and is here to support you on that journey.

Krystle Himmelberger is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has served adults with a variety of mental health symptoms, victims of assault, domestic violence, and couples in crisis. Krystle has provided therapeutic services for the last four years to children and adolescents in residential centers who have experienced abuse, trafficking, trauma, grief, mild to severe mental health symptoms, and behavioral difficulties. Additionally, she has helped reunify families with supportive and inclusive counseling to promote a nurturing environment for the child and family. She implements treatment methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, play therapy, and other holistic approaches guided by the needs of each client. Krystle promotes a healthy and balanced lifestyle by taking action to foster change. Krystle believes that scheduling your appointment is the first step toward healing and wellness.
