Alleviating symptoms while providing an increase in positive thoughts and feelings is a holistic focus towards wellbeing. We may feel stress, frustration, anger, or fear that can cause our lives to become unbalanced. Guiding clients to explore and identify problems while searching for solutions will empower individuals to take control of their lives. Additionally, practicing techniques in finding meaning, gratitude, and hope can influence a person’s sense of confidence in things that are difficult to manage or control. Understanding ourselves may be the hardest thing to do, yet alone, communicate what is really going on. For that reason, Krystle believes that seeking counseling is a shift toward self-reflection and is here to support you on that journey.
