Bailey Wong is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over two years of therapeutic experience working with children, adults and families in addition to working in the human services field for over 10 years. Bailey has experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, identity issues, domestic violence, immigration and refugee stress, family conflict and relationship problems.
Bailey obtained her Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward’s University and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas State University. Bailey has experience working with a wide array of clients in a variety of settings to include children and adolescents in the Child Protective Services system, immigrant asylum seeking individuals, school-based counseling providing services to at-risk youth as well as in an intensive outpatient program for substance abuse.
Bailey is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas (License #75489). Bailey strongly believes in utilizing a strengths-based approach with clients taking into account their values and cultural background which make them unique! She believes that each individual is the expert in their own life and her therapeutic approach strongly values autonomy and collaboration to identify goals and improve quality of life. Asking for help is difficult and takes a great deal of courage. Bailey strongly values each client’s willingness to show up, start therapy and begin on a journey to improve their life!
