Deborah Farbarik is Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents. adults and families. Deborah has worked with individuals living with Mood disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia, Autism, PTSD, ADHD, Autism, family issues and school-based concerns. Deborah utilizes a holistic approach by providing individualized treatment based on her clients’ needs and identified goals.
Deborah obtained her Master of Arts Degree in Human Relations with focus on Counseling at University of Oklahoma and Bachelor of Art in Sociology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas. Deborah has provided services at a local Children’s Psychiatric Hospital; Adult Psychiatric Hospital; Public and Charter Schools settings and Military installation. Providing individual counseling, family counseling, crisis assessments, process group therapy, psychoeducation groups, multifamily groups and functional behavioral assessments.
Deborah is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas (License #16008) since December 1999 and a Registered Yoga Teacher, 200 hour. Deborah believes everyone is capable of change with the appropriate tools and support to succeed. Counseling is a personalized journey that requires evaluating the clients’ life as a whole in order to understand the impact on reaching the clients’ goals.
