Hello, My name is Criselda Flores and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am originally from the Rio Grande valley studied at the University of Texas-Pan American and received a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitative Services with a minor in addiction studies. Proceeding with my Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling. I have over 8 years of counseling experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I am bilingual and my passion is helping others to achieve an improved way of thinking.
I provide solution-focused counseling and evidence-based practices to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I have worked in a myriad of settings such as hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, and community clinics treating children and adults with chronic mental illness (Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, and Depression), relationships, grief and loss, identity development, and addiction relapse prevention, to name a few. I am skilled in providing psycho-education and process-oriented counseling for various issues. I focus on the here-and-now, helping you live for today. We can all have better relationships, greater self-identity, and more fulfillment in our lives.
