My goal as a psychotherapist is to provide an environment where individuals feel understood. Initiating therapy can be very intimidating, and my goal is to decrease this intimidation by providing support and insight that empowers individuals who are struggling with a variety of mental health issues.
I received a Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2016, and my clinical license in 2019. Working with children and adolescents is my main focus, though over the last several years, my clinical experience also includes working with families, military populations, those suffering from chronic illnesses, and conducting group therapy.
Each individual is highly unique, which is why no single approach is sufficient for all populations. My techniques range from a variety of modalities including a person-centered approach, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy, play therapy, and solution-focused therapy. While working alongside my clients, I aim to improve their relationships with themselves, families, and peers to achieve maximum well-being.
