Victoria is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) who enjoys working with adults, adolescents, and children. She is passionate about helping others identify and integrate all pieces of themselves in order to feel whole. She will work with you not only to improve your current coping skills and life functioning, but also to create a life of intention and meaning.
Victoria has experience working in out-patient and in-patient settings. She has worked with a variety of populations to include at-risk youth, homeless individuals suffering from mental and/or substance use disorders, as well as those with acute mental health issues (such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder). Victoria specializes in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, dissociative disorders, trauma, personality disorders, self-harming behaviors, and addiction.
With training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, as well as psychodynamic processes and interventions, she is skilled in a wide variety of modalities and offers a broad skill set.
Victoria works from the perspective that people are the experts in their own lives and that the role as a therapist is to be present in such a way that people are truly empowered to find their unique voices and expand the range of possibilities in their lives.
