Dr. Terrence J. Naus earned a B.A. in Psychology at Loyola College of Maryland and earned his M.A. in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. He completed his doctorate in Clinical and Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University in California. His APA approved internship took place at the Kane County Diagnostic Center conducting court ordered psychological assessments and providing therapeutic counseling with both adolescents and adults. Dr. Naus completed his post-doctoral hours at an in-patient forensic hospital providing crisis intervention services, psychological testing, and individual therapy. Since relocating to Texas, Dr. Naus has received licensure from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists and continues to work toward building therapeutic and assessment skills in both inpatient and outpatient settings working with individuals of all ages. His psychological testing expertise include personality assessment, academic and achievement testing, neuropsychological screenings, and employment screenings. Forensically, Dr. Naus has experience conducting violence risk assessments, court ordered reports for probation recommendations, and competency to stand trial evaluations.
