Looking for highly motivated therapists who are fully licensed in the state of Texas in one of the following mental health fields: LPC, LMFT, LCSW or Psychologist. Candidates should be self-driven, punctual, meticulous and conscientious.
Counselors work with individuals, couples and families experiencing a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, etc. Therapist establishes their own work schedule, including the maximum number of hours they’d like to work. Current license and independent malpractice insurance is required. Referrals are dependent on your specialty and insurance contracts. Excellent opportunity to have the private practice feel, and supplement your income, without the financial risk.
San Antonio Counseling and Behavioral Center is a full time contracted counselor in established group practice that is perfectly located in the Medical Center, Airport, and Downtown Areas. Our office is very beautiful and accommodating for all of our client’s needs. You will be given your own fully furnished office, a receptionist who will help schedule and manage your back office needs paid utilities, ample parking, advertising/marketing, billing services, credentialing, business forms/cards and company webpage.
Exercise appropriate counseling methods and techniques to young children ages 3-16, adolescents with behavior problems, and adults various mental health issues. Adhere to established clinical and ethical standards. The ability to utilize a personal computer in order to learn the software utilized by the group for notes and billing.
Candidates should have completed all necessary coursework leading to a Master’s degree, at minimum. They should have also successfully passed the State licensing exam and completed all required internship hours under a Board-approved Supervisor.

Counseling young children, ages 3-16 and adolescents with behavior problems
Candidates will have to interpret client difficulties, establish goals, monitor progress and modify the plan, when necessary. Candidates must be personable to establish a nurturing rapport with clients, while simultaneously maintaining ethical boundaries.
