Andrea A. Cox, MA, LCSW

Originally from San Antonio, I moved away in 1997 to study psychology at Texas Tech     University. After that, I moved on to study social work at the University of Chicago. Having the opportunity to study at the University of Chicago, as it is internationally credited as one of the birth places of social work philosophy, was highly formative for me as a therapist. Further, I was afforded unmatched opportunities for clinical education, including internships at Northwestern University’s Stone Institute of Psychology, and Mount Sinai Hospital’s “Under the Rainbow” outpatient therapy program for children, adolescents, and their families.
